Information Collection
ADDISON’s privacy policy does not apply to collecting, using or disclosing information publicly available, such as a person or a society name, address, telephone number and electronic address, when listed in a directory or made available through directory assistance.
ADDISON will collect your personal information via a number of avenues including at Point of Sale for purchases via store, internet or online purchasing, telephone, fax or by mail, or returns, or price adjustments, home delivery, special orders, contests in-store or online, surveys and special requests made by you, the customer, to add, delete or change your personal information
Most information that we collect occurs when the customer completes the order form from our Website or the Commercial Credit Application Form when opening an account. In those forms, ADDISON asks for personal name, company name, contact names, address, telephone and facsimile numbers, social insurance number driver’s license number, credit card number, personal financial information, and so on. In the Commercial Credit Application, we will also ask for business operational information, such as credit and supplier references, personal guarantees, and Provincial Sales Tax (PST) exemption numbers.
ADDISON collects this information to confirm the legitimacy and financial status of the applicant. By submitting the Application, you are allowing ADDISON to disclose your information to third party companies (such as a credit reporting agency, industry credit groups and others) to obtain a credit report on you and/or your business. You also agree that ADDISON may collect, use, store, maintain, transfer, and delete your personal information and any third party personal information provided to ADDISON in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This information is stored and secured with reasonable safeguards.
ADDISON collects and stores any information that you, as a customer, provide us in order to complete an inquiry, process an order, or respond to a request for information about a product or service offered by ADDISON.
Occasionally, ADDISON may send you requests asking for your input about our products or services, or we may send you marketing and advertising material, by facsimile or by mail, to inform you about new or current products, promotions and contests. The Addison électronique mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Addison électronique (“Addison électronique”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Addison électronique’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Addison électronique through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Addison électronique. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18553681235 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Addison électronique mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
