Mounting Specifications:

• The space required beyond the ceiling material is 1-1/2″ (38 mm)
• The maximum thickness of the ceiling is 1″ (25 mm). Beyond this thickness, the springs will apply less pressure between the molding and the ceiling
• The base of the molding will therefore have some difficulty in aligning itself flush with the ceiling
